Healthy Bites to Save Lives

Rocco DiSpirito, healthy lifestyle crusader, author and James Beard award winning chef, will join local celebrities, chefs and experts at “Healthy Bites to Save Lives”- a festival on Saturday, October 21, in Levy Park to “Celebrate all that is Houston”.  The event, sponsored by Dr. Oz’s HealthCorps.org, hopes to raise proceeds that will be devoted to helping students in Texas as they recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Healthy Bites to Save Lives will be a free, family and pet friendly festival that will feature  the best of the healthy food and beverage scene in Houston with local chefs, restaurants and businesses. In addition to a celebrity appearance, book signing and demonstration by Chef Rocco DiSpirito, there will be food trucks, cooking demos, product samplings, picnics, music and fitness demos.
