After years on the road cooking various cuisines, Chef Ara Malekian developed an affinity and love for Texas BBQ. He created his own unique BBQ found exclusively at Harlem Road Texas BBQ. He sources his ingredients from local farmers, ranchers and artisans and can regularly be found at the farmer’s market selecting goods from friends to prepare his next feast.

Evelyn Garcia from Pop Up’s by Chef Evelyn 
specializes in South East Asian Cuisine. She fusions Houston’s eclectic culture and local produce to make a cuisine of her own. She currently brings a new way of experiencing fresh local food in a pop up format. Tho she is working towards opening her own restaurant in the heart of Houston. You can currently catch her at her pop up events at local farmers markets, foodie events, bars & restaurants.

CHEF BART

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, Owner and Executive Chef of Black’s Market Table, Bart Black, donated $25,000 worth of proceeds from his restaurant to aid with long term community recovery efforts and provided free meals to hard working first responders. Chef Bart has been bringing people together with food for 30+ years. Black’s Market Table blends upscale food with casual attitude and true community vibe.
