Edible Houston Passport Meet-Up at Phoenicia (Westheimer)
Edible Houston Members, you won't want to miss this Meet-Up! On Wednesday, December 18 we will gather at Phoenicia Specialty Foods to talk bread and shop the isles with Editor Francine Spiering for the ingredients needed to make a special recipe straight from our pages.
Passport Holders will begin by gathering together to discuss the breads on the cover of our current WINTER issue (many of which came from Phoenicia) and spend some time sampling our way through the bread section. Note from our Editor, "If you haven't been, that’s the best part of Phoenicia on Westheimer!"
With heads spinning from all the different breads, the group will then “tour” the nuts section and talk about our nougat (mannasama) recipe.
Passport-holing Members will receive $5 off any purchase over $20 so don't forget your passports!
