The Galveston Island Shrimp Festival

Overview of the 10th Annual Galveston Island Shrimp Festival. Located in the Historic Strand District of Galveston Island.

Two full days of shrimp, music, friends, and fun begins on Friday, September 27 and runs through Saturday, September 28, 2019! Event activities include a Shrimp Gumbo Cook-Off, Gumbo Tasting, Boat Show, Official 5k, Lil’ Shrimps Parade, Live Music, Vendors, and a Strand Merchant Walk-About! There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy!
