Uchi Collab Dinner with Maureen Neer from La Sirena Clandestina in Chicago

A one-night-only 9-course collaborative dinner combining Uchi’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese food with the Latin-inspired cuisine of Chef Maureen Neer.

Guests will be greeted with a welcome beverage and passed appetizers upon arrival from 6:30 – 7:00 PM. Once seated, they will enjoy a nine-course meal created by the chef team, as well as dessert.    

MENU:      

 Passed appetizers:

  • Kurodai Crudo with apple dashi, crispy ginger, Thai chili

  • Curried Crab Dumpling with negi, coconut

 

Dinner:

  • Sunomono with Monterey Bay ogo, quince, Speck XO vinaigrette

  • Tako with Sudachi Sabayon, serrano, braised leek

  • Manglista Pork Belly Tataki with sweet Corn, chicharron, pork tare

  • Pao de Queijo with uni butter, caviar

  • Bolinhos de bacalhau with olive tapenade and egg yolk jam 

  • Scallop Crudo with chayote squash, cashew, black garlic

  • Roasted Winter squash with aji amarillo and apple cider glaze, manchego, pao granola 

  • Grilled Prawn with moqueca

  • Whole Ribeye with chimichurri, fried onions, Japanese sweet potatoes, dulce de leche vinegar

$175 per person, tax + gratuity not included

Wine pairings included in ticket price. A check for additional beverages and gratuity will be passed to the guests at the conclusion of the meal.
