Dandelion Café is a quaint café in the heart of the Bellaire community that boasts a chef-driven menu of housemade breakfast, lunch and brunch options. Since 2016, owner Sarah Lieberman has been known for serving locally sourced or made-from-scratch menu items like Dandelion’s salsas, dressings, jams and holiday-themed hand-decorated sugar cookies. Breakfast offers classics like their Holiday Benedict, Breakfast Tacos, Avocado Toast, housemade Yogurt or Biscuits & Gravy and playful plates like Blueberry Lemon Curd French Toast Sticks and Inside Out Chilaquiles.
Dandelion keeps the menu fresh with seasonal and local ingredients with the occasional off-menu features like Chili & Eggs or Steak & Eggs created on weekends by Chef JC Ricks. Breakfast & lunch are available all day every day. Their lunch includes options like the Turkey Club, Chicken Caprese Panini, Super Food Salad and housemade soups, along with a variety of vegan and vegetarian options.
The Bellaire hot spot brews Amaya and Greenway coffees; baristas prepare coffee drinks with made-from-scratch almond milk and flavored syrups including favorites bourbon caramel and butterscotch. Stay health-conscious with fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies and organic loose leaf teas. Treat yourself to sweets like local pastries, artisanal pralines, cookies and lemon bars. Guests are encouraged to enjoy craft beers, wines, plus new cocktails and mocktails on the dog-friendly patio or inside the bright, garden-inspired café and its Instagrammable seasonal paper floral display.
Happy hour is Monday–Friday 3–5pm with $5 beers, $7 wines & $1 off bottles & cocktails. Dandelion Café is the place to be for Winey Wednesday with $5 wine pours all day. When on the go, phone ahead or order online by visiting their website.
