A food-as-medicine day for learning and growing in support of FARM Houston, an urban farming educational initiative. This farm-to-table interactive workshop will take place on April 19 from 12-4pm in the fifth ward of Houston, TX at 711 N. Emile Street.

“FARMacy” will focus on reconnecting to sustainable family farms and renewing a commitment to real food. The hands-on educational opportunity will include lectures from Houston’s top wellness experts and local food producers.

Proceeds from this event goes to FARM Houston Seed Bank and urban farming movement of Houston and the event is in support of the launch of Edible Houston a semi-monthly magazine that features local producers, growers, and community within sustainable foods.

Mission: To spread food-as-medicine to the greater Houston community, finding commonality and empowerment through education, application, and desire to prevent chronic illness.
