Galveston Island State Park, Bay Explorations: Park naturalist guides uncover sea life in the bay’s shore waters, 10–11:15am. Other activities daily include fishing, hiking, biking and water trails for kayaking and canoeing.

Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge
