Mediterranean white varieties originating from the Rhone Valley and southern France offering aromatic light- to medium-bodied wines with peach/citrus characteristics.
Trebbiano, Vermentino—Central/northern Italian white varieties with light-bodied wines and distinct lemon-citrus and green herbal notes.
THE REDS
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot
Bordeaux varieties found in blended or single-variety red wines with bold dark berry flavors, deep color and moderate to brisk tannins with vanilla and baking spice from oak aging.
Dolcetto

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre
Mediterranean/Iberian red varieties that make medium- to full-bodied aromatic wines and blends including dry rosés and dark, bold red blends as found in southern France and Spain.
Aglianico, Nero d’Avola
Southern Italian red grapes make full-bodied and tannic wines with red/black fruit characteristics, often age worthy.
Petit Sirah
Red grape primarily grown outside of Europe that produces jammy, nearly opaque, tannic wines; also adds its characteristics in blends with other red grapes.
Sangiovese, Montepulciano
Central Italian red grapes yield medium-bodied wines with red-to-dark berry flavors, high acidity, blended with other Italian/European grapes to gain intensity.
Tempranillo
Spain’s Rioja region’s primary red grape yields red berry flavors and aromas with added intensity from blending and aging in American oak.
