October 10th, 2021 is World Mental Health Day. This day serves as an important opportunity to raise awareness in the community about the importance of mental health and to offer resources and tools to enhance psychological well being.
In support of this day, Isha Foundation is offering free, online sessions called “Meditation for Mental Health” from October 9th-10th where participants can learn evidence-informed practices to support their mental wellbeing and to bring health, clarity and joy. The tools are offered as a holistic approach towards well-being and its benefits can lead to freedom from psychological stress and chronic ailments. These practices take just 10-12 minutes daily and can bring balance, stability and vitality to the system.
