Jennifer Lopez-Fuller
Jennifer Lopez-Fuller is a food writer for the Houston Press and has created Facebook group, Bay Area Houston Food Lovers, where she encourages all 5000+ members to support local food businesses, from restaurants and caterers to private chefs. During Harvey, Jennifer utilized her group to coordinate meals and supplies for those in need. Jennifer has made it her mission to put Houston’s Bay Area on the map.
David Leftwich
Besides loving to cook locally grown vegetables, especially kohlrabi, David likes to hang out with his wife, daughter, two dogs, one cat, and a few too many books. He is the author the chapbook The City, published by Little Red Leaves Textile Series and the executive editor of Sugar & Rice. His work on food and culture has also appeared in Edible Houston, the Houston Chronicle, My Table, Food+City, and Sugar & Rice. He is also a co-host of Houston Matter’s Full Menu.
