- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound beef sirloin, cubed
- 1 small sprig rosemary
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- ½ tablespoon salt, or to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ tablespoon ground red pepper, or to taste
- 1 jalapeño, sliced, or to taste
Preparation
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the beef sirloin and cook for 10–15 minutes on high heat. Add rosemary, onion, salt, garlic, black pepper and red pepper and cook, stirring regularly, for another 5 minutes. Add the sliced jalapeño and serve it with bread (preferably Eritrean bread called injera).
