Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon loose-leaf chamomile tea
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Juice and peel of ½ lemon
- 1 pinch ground cardamom
- 1 star anise
- 1 (2-inch) piece cinnamon bark
- ¾ cup boiling water
- 2 ounces pecan bourbon
Preparation
Pour chamomile tea, honey, lemon juice, cardamom, star anise and cinnamon into a small an insulated tumbler.
Pour boiling water over tea and spices. Stir and close the lid on the tumbler to let it steep for 2–3 minutes.
Pour bourbon into a mug or glass. Once tea is finished steeping, pour it over the bourbon through a mesh strainer.
Garnish with lemon peel and spices.
