The Whiskey Jack - A Halloween Cocktail

This Halloween, Frank's Americana Revival is bringing new “boos” to the cocktail menu with a limited time drink offering. Inspired by his Father Jack’s love of whiskey and everyone’s love of Halloween (think jack-o’-lantern!), Mike Shine dug into his Irish roots to craft “The Whiskey Jack”. With the drink recipe modified from a whiskey dessert, the cocktail is an irresistible pleasure that restaurant goers can trick or treat themselves to through Halloween.

NOTE: you can use a regular simple syrup but the rosemary takes it to the next level and is worth the effort.

Pour over ice in a large rocks glass op off with club soda. Garnish with rosemary sprig and grapefruit wedge

TO MAKE THE ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil then add 2 cups of sugar, stir to dissolve. Once dissolved, add sprigs of rosemary and let boil for 1 minute (depending on desired strength)
